Design a unit of at least three 45-minute lesson plans of instruction. Coordinator will evaluate written lesson plan based on accuracy and completeness of content. Lesson plan must be approved by Coordinator before scholar is allowed to teach. Lesson plans should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to expected delivery date for feedback and must include the following:
– Detailed outline of each of the 3 lesson plans
– learning objectives stated at start of outline
– At least one assessment related to lesson plan to test mastery of material of target audience. Assessment must be linked with the lesson plan Scholar will deliver.
– At least one handout to assist target audience in understanding lesson plan. Handout must be linked with the lesson plan Scholar will deliver.
