In order to earn a distinction in this area, Scholars must successfully complete the requirements and defend their entire body of work from the previous two years to the Portfolio Committee. The Mentor is allowed to attend, but participation will be kept to a minimum at the defense. At the end of the defense the Scholar will be excused and the Portfolio Committee with input from the Mentor will discuss whether the distinction should be awarded or not. Each Committee Member and the Mentor get a vote with tie breaker going to the Head of Upper School or the Entrepreneurship Coordinator.
